Saeby Statue - Lady From the Sea - Fru Fra Havet
Saeby Harbour in Northern Jutland is home to the statue 'Fru Fra Havet' (Lady From the Sea). The statue was created by the Norwegian sculptor Marit Benthe Norheim. The statue was created to commemorate the Henrik Ibsen story ‘Lady from the Sea’. The story was written in 1887 after Ibsen spent a short time in Saeby.
