Towers on Voergaard Castle
The octagon shaped towers on the sides of Voergaard Castle (Voergård Slot) are quite rare in Denmark. Danish castles and manor homes usually have round towers. The towers were a later addition to the building. The orginal building constructed in 1481 did not have towers.
