Karup Airport (Karup Lufthavn) is a small airport in central Jutland (Jylland). The airport is about 20 km northeast of Herning. The airport is small and primarily deals with travellers to and from Copenhagen's Airport, Kastrup (Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup), as well as a number of flights to and from popular European tourist destinations. This airport is a jointly used airport. Meaning the airport is used by both the military as well as civilians.

The airport has adequate parking relative to it's size. There is a restaurant, a couple shops as well as a cash machine. There is a Airport Taxi system in use which offers fixed rates to many towns throughout Jutland. Regular taxis and buses are also available as well as a limousine service.
