Bornholm Airport (Bornholm Lufthavn) is located on the island of Bornholm and lies about 5 km away from Ronne (Rønne). Ronne is the largest town on the island, and the island itself is a popular tourist destination for Danes. However, the island is gaining popularity with other Europeans. The airport is mainly used to transport passengers to and from Copenhagen's Airport, Kastrup (Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup) and Billund Airport (Billund Lufthavn). There are also seasonal flights to and from Widerøe Airport (Oslo, Norway). The airport also offers sightseeing flights.
The airport is small yet there is adequate parking. There is a cafe and a restaurant in the airport, as well as a cash machine.
There is an Airport Taxi Service which must be ordered. The Airport Taxi Service will take you to and from your you destination on the island. If you do not book this service it also possible to use the standard taxi. The standard taxis are parked outside the airport. There are also seasonal buses available.
